[Action - Inside 850 Goldberg - Backdated to December 25 (Christmas)]

[On Christmas morning, Chell wakes up on the couch that she had claimed as her own and sits up to discover that there are a couple of gifts under and nearby the tree and two stockings hung over the fireplace.

She didn't hear anybody come in, she's a light sleeper, especially with the nightmares she's been having. Had the gifts been brought there like she had?

Chell gets up and walks over to the gift with her name on it. It's quite large and completely square. She has a suspicion of what it could be and she's proven correct when she rips off the paper to reveal a burnt Weighted Companion Cube.

She sighs and shakes her head, GLaDOS had told her about obtaining items from home and she had hoped for her clothes or even the portal gun. Instead she got a mostly-useless cube. Well, maybe she'd find a use for it here, she's been warned of the weird things that go on. It'd probably be a helpful way to barricade a door or even could be used as a sort of stepping stool.

After clearing the paper off her present, Chell turns her attention to the stockings. She picks up the one with her name on it and dumps the contents on the couch. It's full of various assorted chocolates and candies. Though, she's not sure if she should trust them, especially since GLaDOS had told her that the milk was always poisoned.

This was certainly shaping up to be an interesting Christmas.]
